Crystal Hubbs

Junior Ballet & Tap 1 Instructor

My Story

Crystal discovered her love for dance at the age of six, beginning a journey that would shape her life both artistically and spiritually. She trained for twelve years in a variety of dance styles, including ballet, tap, jazz, and lyrical, developing a strong technical foundation and a lifelong appreciation for the performing arts.

Crystal continued her dance education at the University of Alabama, where she studied dance for two years and performed with Dance Alabama. During her college training, she developed a deep appreciation for the creativity and expression found in modern dance while continuing to broaden her artistic perspective.

After several years away from the studio, Crystal rediscovered her passion for dance when she joined Agape Ballet & Performing Arts in 2019. Since then, she has become an integral part of the studio, performing in numerous productions and portraying memorable leading and supporting roles, including the Ghost of Christmas Future in A Christmas Carol, the Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland, Aunt Rowena in The Twelve Dancing Princesses, the Queen in Sleeping Beauty, and the Queen Mother in The Littlest Mermaid. One of Crystal’s greatest joys has been sharing the stage with her daughter, Ada Grace, who is also a dedicated student at Agape Ballet. Together, they have created treasured memories through their shared love of dance.

As an instructor, Crystal is passionate about helping students discover the same joy that dance has brought to her life. She strives to encourage dancers to grow in their technique, artistry, confidence, and stage presence while fostering a heart of worship through movement. Her desire is to help every student use their God-given gifts to glorify Christ, serving with excellence, joy, and purpose both on and off the stage.
