Dawn Schock

With experience spanning performance, technical theater, directing, leadership, and arts education, Dawn brings a well-rounded perspective and deep appreciation for the performing arts. She remains passionate about fostering creativity, building community through the arts, and supporting performers of all ages.

 

Dawn has been actively involved in the performing arts from an early age, developing a lifelong passion for music, theater, and creative expression. Throughout her school years, she participated in numerous plays, concerts, and choir programs, building a strong foundation in both vocal and instrumental performance.

 

Her musical experience spans from childhood through her freshman year of college and includes participation in marching band, concert band, indoor drumline, wind ensemble, orchestra, and various ensemble performance groups. Dawn played both clarinet and marching cymbals during her high school and college years, gaining valuable experience in a wide range of musical settings. She has also been involved in church performance ministry, using her talents to support worship and community engagement.

 

Prior to moving to Jackson County, Dawn spent six years actively involved with Consider This Theater Company in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. In addition to serving as Vice President of the Board of Directors, she participated in numerous productions both on and off stage and co-directed the company’s summer camp program for three consecutive years, helping to inspire and mentor young performers.
